Agios Georgios

The lovely beach of Agios Georgios is located only 1 km from Chora, the capital and main port of Naxos. Only 15 min walk from Chora, Agios Georgios is also frequently connected by bus to the capital town and other places around the island. Long and sandy, this beach is developed with accommodations, delicious restaurants, cafeterias and water sports centers.

Despite the tourist development, the beach has kept its calm and relaxing atmosphere. Apart from swimming, Agios Georgios is a popular place for windsurfing. In fact, there are windsurfing centers there that hire all the necessary equipment and give courses for all levels.
